The Missouri Caves and Karst Conservancy is pleased to announce a cooperative effort with the Missouri Cave Association.... the Missouri "The Cave State" Organizational license plate!

When you buy a Missouri "The Cave State" license plate, you are proudly supporting the  Missouri Caves & Karst Conservancy (MCKC) and the Missouri Caves Association (MCA).  Funds collected from the plates will be used to promote Missouri as "The Cave State", enhance educational programs and support cave conservation programs. In order to complete the application to the Missouri Department of Revenue for a special organization license plate, the MCKC/MCA must provide a list of 200 individual vehicle owners desiring to purchase  Missouri "The Cave State" license plate.  Upon approval, you will be notified that the special "Cave State" license plates are available.  At this time NO MONEY is required to sign up for the specialty plates.  Only after approval by the Joint Transportation Committee will contributions be requested.  Upon approval, you may receive your plates by making a $25 minimum contribution ($50 for 2 year plates) to the Missouri Caves & Karst Conservancy / Missouri Caves Association.   Fifty percent of the funds collected will go to each association to fund their respective projects.  The MCA / MCKC will send you two documents: 1)  Motor Vehicle Bureau application for personalized plate, and 2) An "emblem-use authorization form".  This form is proof of contribution to the MCKC / MCA and is required when you submit your actual plate application.  All Missouri "The Cave State" license plates are considered to be personalized plates and all Department of Revenue Fees apply.
